Tottenham says that striker Harry Kane suffered a "significant" ankle ligament injury during Tuesday's Champions League win over Manchester City, while the club also confirmed that midfielder Dele Alli fractured his left hand.
Despite relying heavily on Kane for the majority of the season, Pochettino has insisted his absence will not put any extra pressure on the other attacking players, including Heung-Min Son.
"We have a strong squad, rather than rest tomorrow we want to provide the team good energy and fresh legs to be sure we can approach the game in the best condition and be sure we are going to get the three points".
After the final whistle, Lucas brought his one-year-old son out onto the pitch, savouring every moment of this special day for him.
Lucas has mostly come off the bench this season, but with Harry Kane ruled out for the rest of the season, the Brazilian has may well have just fought his way into the starting XI. He suffered a similar injury last time against Manchester United and that took five weeks, and if we arrive in the final of the Champions League maybe he would have the possibility to play, but we'll see. We feel so disappointed and it was hard to accept the situation. "It is a little bit sad but he is looking forward to recovering as soon as possible".

"At some point I think they would think about doing something surgically to stabilise the ligament, which is quite feasible and should restore the problem happening in the long term", Mr Davies told Press Association Sport.
It was a needless challenge, made on the halfway line, but Pochettino insists that sort of commitment makes Kane the player he is and he can not change him.
Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane may have to consider having surgery on his injured ankle, a leading surgeon has said.
"Now the bad luck means that he's got an injury but he is how he is".
