The person who whacked Francesco "Franky Boy" Cali appears to have lured the Gambino crime boss out of his Staten Island home by smashing into the mobster's vehicle, law enforcement sources said Thursday.
Francesco "Franky Boy" Cali, 53, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his body at his home in the borough's Todt Hill section just after 9pm on Wednesday evening.
Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea said police are reviewing surveillance footage that captured the events surrounding Frank Cali's death yesterday in Staten Island.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing as police search for a blue pickup truck that fled the gruesome scene after it is believed to have run Cali over.

In 1992, Gotti was convicted in Castellano's murder and a multitude of other crimes. He was succeeded in 2011 by Domenico Cefalu, only to be replaced four years later by Cali.
