Which is good, because I hate these f-cking Bud Light ads and "Dilly Dilly" is a dumb catchphrase, and also you can't MAKE catchphrases happen and ads that try and dictate our pop lexicon can go f-ck themselves, we don't need corporations to give us words and phrases.
In Bud Light's first ad, the Bud Light King, Bud Knight and friends are trying to figure out what to do with a corn syrup barrel that was erroneously delivered to them. A Bud Light representative said in a statement that different recipes create different flavors, and that rice provides a "clean, crisp taste".
"Always intrigued at what commercials are going to come out, and when they progressed to we do not use corn syrup in our beer".
The National Corn Growers Association was not happy about the dig.
As chance would have it, that's what happened.
